1. Nurse

   Guten Tag! Jetzt ist Besuchszeit. Wen möchten Sie besuchen?

   Translation

   Hello! It's visiting hours now. Who would you like to visit?

   Otti

   Kalle, das Wildschwein. Er hatte gestern einen Unfall.

   Translation

   Kalle, the wild boar. He had an accident yesterday.

3. Nurse

   Ah, Kalle. Er ist verletzt, aber schon wieder fröhlich.

   Translation

   Ah, Kalle. He's injured, but already cheerful again.

   Otti

   Hallo Kalle! Was ist denn passiert?

   Translation

   Hi Kalle! What on earth happened?

   Kalle

   Ich habe mir beim Fußball das Bein gebrochen.

   Translation

   I broke my leg playing football.

   Oh nein! Bist du mit dem Krankenwagen gekommen?

   Translation

   Oh no! Did you come by ambulance?

   Ja, direkt in die Notaufnahme. Ich habe stark geblutet, und am Kopf hatte ich eine Wunde.

   Translation

   Yes, straight to A&E. I was bleeding badly, and I had a wound on my head.

   Und wer hat dich operiert?

   And who operated on you?

   Kalle

   Eine Ärztin. Die Operation war heute früh, und jetzt ist das Bein in Gips.

   Translation

   A doctor. The operation was early this morning, and now my leg is in a cast.

    Und jetzt muss er vorsichtig sein. Er darf sich nicht noch einmal verletzen.

    Translation

    And now he has to be careful. He mustn't hurt himself again.

    Kalle, hier ist ein Kuchen für dich - und ein Pflaster mit Igeln. Werde schnell gesund!

    Translation
