   Guten Morgen, Frida! Wohin gehst du so früh?

   Translation

   Good morning, Frida! Where are you off to so early?

   Frida

   Ich habe viel vor: ein Paket verschicken, die Jacke in die Reinigung bringen und das Fahrrad in die Werkstatt.

   Translation

   I've got a lot on: send a parcel, take my jacket to the dry cleaner's and the bike to the workshop.

   Otti

   Und um elf hast du einen Termin beim Friseur, oder?

   Translation

   And at eleven you have an appointment at the hairdresser's, don't you?

   Frida

   Genau, ich lasse mir die Haare schneiden. Kommst du mit? Dann schaffen wir alles bis zum Mittag.

   Translation

   Right, I'm getting my hair cut. Are you coming along? Then we'll get everything done by lunchtime.

   Guten Morgen! Was darf es sein? Ein Paket oder ein Päckchen?

   Translation

   Good morning! What can I do for you? A parcel or a small parcel?

   Ein Päckchen nach Hamburg, bitte. Und diesen Umschlag.

   Translation

   A small parcel to Hamburg, please. And this envelope.

7. Post Office Clerk

   Auf dem Päckchen fehlt die Postleitzahl vom Empfänger. Und den Absender schreiben Sie bitte auf den Umschlag.

   Translation

   The recipient's postcode is missing on the parcel. And please write the sender's address on the envelope.

   Frida

   Oh, danke! … So, fertig. Otti, jetzt zur Reinigung!

   Translation

   Oh, thank you! … There, done. Otti, now to the dry cleaner's!

   Otti

   Ist die Reinigung samstags überhaupt geöffnet?

   Translation

   Is the dry cleaner's even open on Saturdays?

    Frida

    Ja, bis zwölf. Aber die Werkstatt ist heute geschlossen. Das Fahrrad gebe ich am Montag ab.

    Translation

    Yes, until twelve. But the workshop is closed today. I'll drop the bike off on Monday.

    Schau mal, vor der Reinigung stehen zehn Leute Schlange!

    Translation

    Look, there are ten people queuing outside the dry cleaner's!

    No problem, I can manage. You keep my place, and I'll get us two coffees!
