   Draußen regnet es. Wie wäre es mit einem Brettspiel?

   Translation

   It's raining outside. How about a board game?

   Lotte

   Gern! Aber zuerst die Spielregeln, damit nachher alles fair ist.

   Translation

   Sure! But the rules first, so that everything's fair afterwards.

   Bruno

   Ach, ganz einfach: Jeder würfelt und zieht seine Spielfigur. Wer die meisten Punkte hat, gewinnt.

   Translation

   Oh, it's easy: everyone rolls the dice and moves their piece. Whoever has the most points wins.

   Otti

   Ich bin zuerst an der Reihe. Eine Sechs, super!

   Translation

   My turn first. A six, great!

   Lotte

   Bruno, du hast eine Drei gewürfelt, aber deine Spielfigur steht fünf Felder weiter. Schummelst du etwa?

   Translation

   Bruno, you rolled a three, but your piece is five squares further on. Are you cheating, by any chance?

   Bruno

   Ich? Niemals! … Na gut, ein bisschen. Nach dieser Runde gibt es nämlich Pizza, und ich habe Hunger.

   Translation

   Me? Never! … All right, a little. There's pizza after this round, you see, and I'm hungry.

   Otti

   Das ist unfair, Bruno! Zieh deine Spielfigur bitte zurück.

   Translation

   That's unfair, Bruno! Move your piece back, please.

   Bruno

   Schon gut, schon gut. Ab jetzt spiele ich fair.

   Translation

   All right, all right. From now on I'll play fair.

   Lotte

   Das hoffe ich. Wer noch einmal schummelt, verliert zwei Punkte - so steht es in den Spielregeln.

   Translation

   I hope so. Whoever cheats again loses two points - it says so in the rules.

    Otti

    Wieder eine Sechs! Lotte, du warst eine starke Gegnerin, aber diese Runde gewinne ich!

    Translation

    Another six! Lotte, you were a tough opponent, but I'm winning this round!

    Bravo, Otti! Ein fairer Sieger teilt seine Pizza mit den Verlierern, oder?

    Translation

    Well done, Otti! A fair winner shares his pizza with the losers, doesn't he?

    Na gut, Bruno. Aber nur, wenn du in der nächsten Runde nicht schummelst!

    Translation

    All right, Bruno. But only if you don't cheat in the next round!
