   Ich habe ein Jobangebot aus Hamburg. Bis Freitag muss ich eine Entscheidung treffen. Was ratet ihr mir?

   Translation

   I've had a job offer from Hamburg. I have to make a decision by Friday. What do you advise?

   Lotte

   Gehen wir alle Aspekte durch. Einerseits wäre es eine Chance: mehr Gehalt, eine neue Perspektive.

   Translation

   Let's go through all the aspects. On the one hand it would be an opportunity: a higher salary, new prospects.

   Bruno

   Andererseits regnet es dort ständig. Ich rate dir ab!

   Translation

   On the other hand it rains there all the time. I'd advise you against it!

   Otti

   Aber die Lebensqualität am Meer! Das ist doch ein Argument.

   Translation

   But the quality of life by the sea! That's a point, isn't it?

   Stimmt. Entscheidend ist allerdings: Was willst du wirklich?

   Translation

   True. What really matters, though, is: what do you really want?

   Frau Hilde

   Ich habe Bedenken, Otti. Mein Bruder sagte über Hamburg immer, er habe den Umzug nie bereut - dennoch habe er Berlin vermisst.

   Translation

   I have my doubts, Otti. My brother always said about Hamburg that he never regretted the move - and yet he missed Berlin.

   Berlin ist zwar mein Zuhause. Hamburg hingegen wäre ein Abenteuer …

   Ehrlich gesagt nicht. Mein Standpunkt ist schließlich klar: Mein Zuhause ist hier, bei euch.

    Translation

    Very good! The only consequence: I'm cooking for everyone tonight.

    Translation

    A wise decision, my dear. We'll simply go to the sea in summer - all together.
