   Translation

   Good morning! Everyone has logged in. Otti, are you there? Your camera is still off.

   Otti

   Guten Morgen! Und jetzt? Ist es so besser?

   Translation

   Good morning! And now? Is that better?

3. Team leader

   Jetzt sehen wir Sie, aber Ihr Mikrofon ist noch stummgeschaltet.

   Translation

   Now we can see you, but your microphone is still muted.

   Otti

   Entschuldigung! Meine Verbindung ist heute leider sehr langsam.

   Translation

   Sorry! My connection is very slow today, unfortunately.

   Kein Problem. Dann zur Tagesordnung: Otti, Sie sind als Erster dran.

   Translation

   No problem. Then on to the agenda: Otti, you're first.

   Gern. Darf ich kurz den Bildschirm teilen? So sehen alle gleichzeitig die Zahlen.

   Translation

   Sure. May I share my screen for a moment? That way everyone sees the figures at the same time.

   Natürlich. … Entschuldigung, dass ich Sie unterbreche, aber was bellt da so laut?

   Translation

   Of course. … Sorry to interrupt you, but what's barking so loudly?

   Der Hund meines Nachbarn. Er bellt immer, wenn ich an einer Videokonferenz teilnehme.

   Translation

   My neighbour's dog. It always barks when I'm in a video conference.

   Im Homeoffice gibt es eben viel Ablenkung. Lassen Sie sich nicht ablenken! Wer schreibt heute das Protokoll?

   Translation

   There are always lots of distractions when you work from home. Don't let it distract you! Who's taking the minutes today?

    Das kann ich übernehmen. Zu Hause bin ich sowieso produktiver als im Büro.

    Translation

    I can do that. At home I'm more productive than at the office anyway.

11. Team leader

    Gut, aber denken Sie auch an Ihre Arbeitszeit. Gestern haben Sie mir um Mitternacht noch geschrieben!

    Translation

    Good, but mind your working hours too. Yesterday you were still writing to me at midnight!

    Otti

    Stimmt, dafür habe ich bis zehn geschlafen. … Oh, die Besprechung ist vorbei - und der Hund schläft jetzt auch!

    Translation

    True, but then I slept till ten. … Oh, the meeting's over - and now the dog's asleep too!
