   Otti

   Lotte, es ist schon Mitternacht! Was machst du noch am Computer?

   Translation

   Lotte, it's already midnight! What are you still doing at the computer?

   Lotte

   Ich plane, wo wir im Sommer Urlaub machen. Seit drei Stunden vergleiche ich Hotels und Jugendherbergen.

   Translation

   I'm planning where we'll go on holiday in the summer. I've been comparing hotels and hostels for three hours.

   Otti

   Und? Wohin machen wir eine Reise?

   Translation

   And? Where are we going on our trip?

4. 

   Lotte

   Auf eine Insel an der Küste! Oder lieber ins Gebirge? Der Reiseführer zeigt so viele Sehenswürdigkeiten.

   Translation

   To an island off the coast! Or the mountains instead? The guidebook shows so many sights.

   Otti

   Die Insel, bitte! Ich möchte am Strand schlafen.

   Translation

   The island, please! I want to sleep on the beach.

   Lotte

   Gut. Als Unterkunft ist die Jugendherberge billiger, aber im Hotel gibt es Halbpension.

   Translation

   Fine. As a place to stay, the hostel is cheaper, but the hotel has half board.

   Otti

   Halbpension klingt gut. Frühstück und Abendessen - dann muss ich nicht kochen.

   Translation

   Half board sounds good. Breakfast and dinner - then I don't have to cook.

   Lotte

   Ein Doppelzimmer ist billiger, aber du schnarchst so laut. Ich buche zwei Einzelzimmer.

   Translation

   A double room is cheaper, but you snore so loudly. I'll book two single rooms.

   Otti

   Wie viele Nächte übernachten wir dort?

   Translation

   How many nights are we staying there?

10. 

    Lotte

    Fünf Übernachtungen. Und am Mittwoch machen wir einen Ausflug mit dem Schiff.

    Translation

    Five nights. And on Wednesday we'll go on a boat trip.

    Und wenn es regnet?

    Translation

    And if it rains?

    Lotte

    Dann kann ich bis einen Tag vorher kostenlos stornieren. Ich habe an alles gedacht!

    Translation

    Then I can cancel for free up to the day before. I've thought of everything!
