Frida Baker Shop Assistant

1.

   Frida

Guten Morgen!

   Translation

Good morning! Our boss is ill, so I'm leading the meeting today. Thank you for coming!

2. Baker

Gibt es heute eine Tagesordnung? Sonst streiten wir wieder über die Kaffeemaschine.

   Translation

Is there an agenda today? Otherwise we'll argue about the coffee machine again.

3.

   Frida

   Translation

Yes, three points. As for how it works: everyone gets a short turn to speak, and I'll note everything down.

4. Shop Assistant

   Translation

Then I'll raise my concern straight away: all the overtime before Christmas.

5. Baker

   Translation

And who's actually responsible for the orders? Nobody has known for weeks.

6.

   Frida

   Translation

Let's stay objective. I'll hand out the responsibilities again: I'm delegating the orders to you.

7. Baker

An mich?

   Translation

To me? All right. But only if we also vote on the overtime.

8.

   Frida

   Translation

We will. Who's in favour of getting a temp in December?

9. Shop Assistant

Ich! Endlich mal eine konstruktive Besprechung.

   Translation

Me! A constructive meeting at last.

10. Baker

    Translation

Me too. And we'll postpone the coffee machine until next week.

11.

    Frida

    Translation

Good, we have an agreement, and the decision is binding. I'll send you the summary with the minutes today.
