   Frida, einen Moment bitte! Ich möchte mit Ihnen über Ihre Leistung sprechen.

   Translation

   Frida, a moment, please! I'd like to talk to you about your performance.

   Frida

   Natürlich. Habe ich etwas falsch gemacht? Das Projekt war doch pünktlich fertig.

   Translation

   Of course. Have I done something wrong? The project was finished on time.

3. Boss

   Nein, nein! Sie haben dieses Jahr viel geleistet, und das ganze Team lobt Sie sehr.

   Translation

   No, no! You've achieved a lot this year, and the whole team speaks very highly of you.

   Frida

   Danke! Aber ohne das Team wäre dieser Erfolg nicht möglich gewesen.

   Translation

   Thank you! But without the team this success wouldn't have been possible.

5. Boss

   Genau deshalb möchte ich Sie befördern. Hätten Sie Lust, ab Januar ein kleines Team zu leiten?

   Translation

   That's exactly why I'd like to promote you. Would you like to lead a small team from January?

   Frida

   Ich? Das ist eine große Verantwortung. Wie viele Mitarbeiter wären das denn?

   Translation

   Me? That's a big responsibility. How many staff would that be?

7. Boss

   Fünf Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Ich weiß, dass Sie ehrgeizig sind und gern Verantwortung übernehmen.

   Translation

   Five members of staff. I know that you're ambitious and like to take on responsibility.

   Frida

   Das stimmt. Mein Ziel war schon immer, Karriere zu machen. Gibt es mit der Beförderung auch eine Gehaltserhöhung?

   Translation

   That's true. My goal has always been to build a career. Does the promotion come with a pay rise too?

9. Boss

   Ja, Ihr Gehalt steigt um zehn Prozent. Und die Weiterbildung für neue Teamleitungen wird von uns bezahlt.

   Translation

   Yes, your salary goes up by ten per cent. And the training course for new team leaders is paid for by us.

    Das klingt wunderbar! Wofür wäre ich dann genau verantwortlich?

    Translation

    That sounds wonderful! What exactly would I be responsible for?

    Translation

    For the planning and for the team. I'm sure you'll be very successful at it.
