   Morgen, Frida! Du bist ja schon seit vier Uhr hier.

   Translation

   Morning, Frida! You've been here since four already.

2. 

   Frida

   Ja, diese Woche habe ich die frühe Schicht. Und wir haben heute viele Aufgaben.

   Translation

   Yes, I'm on the early shift this week. And we have lots of tasks today.

3. Colleague

   Um neun ist noch die Besprechung mit dem Team, oder?

   Translation

   And there's the team meeting at nine, isn't there?

4. 

   Frida

   Genau. Ich leite das neue Projekt: Bald backen wir auch vegane Kuchen.

   Translation

   Exactly. I'm running the new project: soon we'll bake vegan cakes too.

5. Colleague

   Toll! Aber wer erledigt dann die Bestellungen für die Cafés?

   Translation

   Great! But who'll deal with the orders for the cafés then?

   Frida

   Das organisiere ich auch. Ich bin sehr beschäftigt, aber ich schaffe das.

   Translation

   I'll organise that too. I'm very busy, but I can manage.

7. Colleague

   Du machst so viele Überstunden. Bekommst du dafür mehr Gehalt?

   Translation

   You do so much overtime. Do you get paid more for it?

   Frida

   Ja. Seit ich fest angestellt bin, bezahlt der Betrieb jede Überstunde.

   Translation

   Yes. Since I got a permanent job, the company pays for every hour of overtime.

9. Colleague

   Gehen wir mittags zusammen in die Kantine?

   Translation

   Shall we go to the canteen together at lunchtime?

    Gern, aber nur kurz. Heute gibt es dort Linsensuppe.

    Translation

    Sure, but only briefly. They've got lentil soup today.

11. Colleague

    Und wann hast du Feierabend?

    Translation

    And when do you finish work?

    Frida

    Um eins! Dann gehe ich nach Hause und schlafe wie Otti.

    Translation

    At one! Then I'll go home and sleep like Otti.
