   Emil

   Hallo, schnell, bitte! Mein Handy ist auf die Straße gefallen, und jetzt startet nichts mehr.

   Translation

   Hello, quickly, please! My phone fell onto the street, and now nothing starts any more.

2. Repair technician

   Oh, der Bildschirm hat einen Sprung. Haben Sie schon den Akku geladen?

   Translation

   Oh, the screen has a crack. Have you charged the battery yet?

   Emil

   Klar! Das Ladegerät ist in Ordnung, aber das Gerät bleibt schwarz.

   Translation

   Of course! The charger is fine, but the device stays black.

4. Repair technician

   Hm. Ist es vielleicht schon vorher abgestürzt? Nach einem Update zum Beispiel?

   Translation

   Hm. Did it perhaps crash before that? After an update, for example?

   Emil

   Ja! Gestern habe ich eine neue App installiert und alles aktualisiert. Danach war es total langsam.

   Translation

   Yes! Yesterday I installed a new app and updated everything. After that it was really slow.

   Dann ist es wohl ein technischer Fehler. Das Gerät ist ja noch neu, also haben Sie Garantie.

   Translation

   Then it's probably a technical fault. The device is still new, so you have a guarantee.

   Super! Und wer zahlt den Bildschirm?

   Translation

   Great! And who pays for the screen?

   Den leider Sie, denn er ist auf der Straße kaputtgegangen. Alles andere wird über die Garantie bezahlt.

   Translation

   You do, I'm afraid, because it broke on the street. Everything else is paid for under the guarantee.

   Translation

    Translation
