   Bruno, warum bist du so traurig?

   Translation

   Bruno, why are you so sad?

   Bruno

   Ich habe wieder mein ganzes Geld für Käse ausgegeben. Jetzt habe ich nur noch ein paar Münzen.

   Translation

   I've spent all my money on cheese again. Now I only have a few coins left.

   Frida

   Schon wieder? Und meine 20 Euro? Die habe ich dir letzte Woche geliehen!

   Translation

   Again? And my 20 euros? I lent them to you last week!

   Bruno

   Ähm … nächsten Monat? Aber ich will jetzt sparen. Ich weiß nur nicht, wie.

   Translation

   Erm … next month? But I want to start saving now. I just don't know how.

   Frida

   Du gibst zu viel Geld aus, weil du immer bar bezahlst. Dann siehst du nicht, was weg ist.

   Translation

   You spend too much money because you always pay cash. Then you don't see what's gone.

   Bruno

   Stimmt. Ich hebe jeden Montag am Geldautomaten hundert Euro ab, und am Mittwoch ist alles weg.

   Translation

   True. Every Monday I withdraw a hundred euros at the cash machine, and by Wednesday it's all gone.

   Dann eröffne ein zweites Konto nur zum Sparen. Das ist bei vielen Banken kostenlos.

   Translation

   Und dann überweise ich jeden Monat eine kleine Summe auf das Konto?

   Translation

   And then I transfer a small amount to that account every month?

   Genau, mit einer Überweisung am Anfang vom Monat. Und kauf Käse nur, wenn es ein Angebot mit Rabatt gibt.

   Translation

   Exactly, with a transfer at the beginning of the month. And only buy cheese when there's a special offer with a discount.

    Translation
