   Hm, nach Pilzen und nassem Holz. Und hier ist es so still.

   Übersetzung

   Mmm, of mushrooms and wet wood. And it's so quiet here.

   Kalle

   Psst, ganz leise. Dort auf der Wiese kannst du Tiere beobachten.

   Übersetzung

   Shh, very quietly. Over there in the meadow you can watch animals.

   Ich sehe ein Reh! Und hier auf dem Boden ist eine Spur. Von wem ist die?

   Übersetzung

   I can see a deer! And here on the ground there's a track. Whose is it?

   Die ist von mir, haha! Hier bin ich wild und frei.

   Übersetzung

   That's mine, ha ha! Here I'm wild and free.

   Darf man hier Pilze sammeln?

   Übersetzung

   Are you allowed to gather mushrooms here?

   Ja, aber nur, wenn du sie gut kennst. Manche sind giftig.

   Übersetzung

   Yes, but only if you know them well. Some are poisonous.

   Und was summt da so? Ein Insekt?

   And what's that buzzing? An insect?

   Das sind Bienen. Sie fliegen von Pflanze zu Pflanze. Ohne Bienen gibt es kein Obst.

   Übersetzung

   Those are bees. They fly from plant to plant. Without bees there's no fruit.

    Kalle, es wird schon dunkel. Wollen wir nach Hause gehen?

    Übersetzung

    Kalle, it's getting dark already. Shall we go home?

    Noch nicht! Komm mit zum Ufer. Schau mal in den Himmel: der Mond und so viele Sterne!

    Übersetzung

    Not yet! Come with me to the shore. Look up at the sky: the moon and so many stars!
