   Otti, ich habe eine Jahreskarte fürs Museum. Heute nehme ich dich mit in die neue Ausstellung!

   Translation

   Otti, I have an annual museum pass. Today I'm taking you to the new exhibition!

   Otti

   Ein Museum? Ist das nicht langweilig?

   Translation

   A museum? Isn't that boring?

   Lotte

   Nein, Kunst ist spannend! Hier stellen sie Gemälde von berühmten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus.

   Translation

   No, art is exciting! They're showing paintings by famous artists here.

   Otti

   Und was kostet der Eintritt?

   Translation

   And how much is admission?

   Lotte

   Mit meiner Karte nichts. Und um drei gibt es eine Führung.

   Translation

   Nothing with my pass. And at three there's a guided tour.

   Otti

   Oh, dieses Gemälde gefällt mir! Ein Igel im Wald.

   Translation

   Oh, I like this painting! A hedgehog in the forest.

   Das ist von einer Künstlerin aus Berlin. Sie hat lange in Kreuzberg gelebt.

   That's by an artist from Berlin. She lived in Kreuzberg for a long time.

   Und was machen wir heute Abend? Gehen wir ins Theater?

   Translation

   And what are we doing this evening? Shall we go to the theatre?

   Leider ist das Theater heute ausverkauft. Aber ich habe zwei Karten für ein Konzert.

   Translation

   Unfortunately the theatre is sold out today. But I have two tickets for a concert.

    Super! Welche Band spielt?

    Great! Which band is playing?

    Lotte

    Eine Jazzband. Sie spielen fünf Instrumente, und das Publikum klatscht immer laut.

    Translation

    A jazz band. They play five instruments, and the audience always claps loudly.

    Dann stehe ich ganz vorne an der Bühne. Das wird ein toller Tag!

    Translation

    Then I'll stand right at the front by the stage. This is going to be a great day!
