   Das ist meine Ecke am See. Hier ist es ganz ruhig.

   Translation

   This is my spot by the lake. It's really quiet here.

   Otti

   Schön! Die Luft ist so frisch. Machen wir eine Pause?

   Translation

   Lovely! The air is so fresh. Shall we take a break?

   Kalle

   Ja. Setz dich hier auf die Bank. Sie ist sehr bequem.

   Translation

   Yes. Sit down here on the bench. It's very comfortable.

   Otti

   Ich lege meinen Rucksack unter die Bank.

   Translation

   I'll put my backpack under the bench.

   Kalle

   Und ich hänge mein Handtuch an den Baum. Gehen wir baden?

   Translation

   And I'll hang my towel on the tree. Shall we go for a swim?

   Otti

   Ins Wasser? Ich habe ein bisschen Angst. Ist der See tief?

   Translation

   Into the water? I'm a bit scared. Is the lake deep?

   Kalle

   Hier unten am Ufer stehst du gut. Das Wasser ist nur etwa einen Meter tief.

   Translation

   Down here by the shore you can stand. The water is only about a metre deep.

   Otti

   Dann bleibe ich lieber draußen und mache ein Foto.

   Translation

   Then I'd rather stay out and take a photo.

   Gute Idee. Von oben ist der See wie ein Bild.

   Translation

   Good idea. From up there the lake looks like a painting.

    Psst, sprich leise! Da sind Enten.

    Translation

    Shh, speak quietly! There are ducks.

    Es wird dunkel. Bist du fertig? Wir gehen noch ein bisschen spazieren.

    Translation

    It's getting dark. Are you done? Let's go for a little walk.

    Ja! Und zu Hause mache ich das Licht an und schlafe sofort.

    Translation

    Yes! And at home I'll switch on the light and fall asleep right away.
