What's New

A big update, so that German fits into your day and not the other way round:

• a daily goal you choose, from 5 to 50 answers
• today's mistakes, practised once more
• gaps in real sentences, in the form the sentence needs
• Otti explains a mistake in your language
• "Decode a Letter": paste a German text and see which words you know
• Otti's map of Berlin, which fills up with your scenarios
• a daily reminder and Otti's weekly diary by email
• the whole app in German too

A word now comes back as a flashcard, a choice, typing, listening or der/die/das, so you know it from every side, not only from its card.

Every word has a picture of Otti now, and every page has its language in the address: a link you share opens in your language.

Every word in the dictionary has its own page with examples, forms, grammar and pronunciation, open to everyone, no account needed.

The search forgives typos and finds a word from its translation too: "кава" finds Kaffee.

The first version: Otti's everyday scenarios, cards that come back just before you would forget them (spaced repetition with FSRS), and Otti, a hedgehog in Berlin who grows with every answer.
