   Lotte

   Also, was machen wir am Samstag? Ich schlage vor, wir gehen ins Kino.

   Translation

   So, what are we doing on Saturday? I suggest we go to the cinema.

2. 

   Kalle

   Ins Kino? Meiner Meinung nach ist das keine gute Idee. Ich will an den See.

   Translation

   The cinema? In my opinion that's not a good idea. I want to go to the lake.

3. 

   Lotte

   Aber ich glaube, dass es heute wahrscheinlich regnet.

   Translation

   But I think it's probably going to rain today.

4. 

   Kalle

   Das stimmt nicht ganz. Es soll erst am Abend regnen.

   Translation

   That's not quite right. It's only supposed to rain in the evening.

   Otti

   Eigentlich ist es mir egal. Hauptsache, wir diskutieren nicht den ganzen Tag.

   Translation

   Actually, I don't mind. As long as we don't argue about it all day.

   Lotte

   Gut, und was sind die Gründe? Der Vorteil vom Kino: Es ist trocken.

   Translation

   Fine, so what are the reasons? The advantage of the cinema: it's dry.

   Kalle

   Und der Nachteil: Es ist dunkel und teuer. Am See ist es schöner, denn da sind wir draußen!

   Translation

   And the disadvantage: it's dark and expensive. It's nicer at the lake, because we're outdoors there!

   Otti

   Ich habe einen Vorschlag: Am Nachmittag gehen wir an den See und am Abend ins Kino.

   Translation

   I have a suggestion: in the afternoon we go to the lake and in the evening to the cinema.

   Lotte

   Das ist eine super Idee! Ich bin dafür.

   Translation

   That's a great idea! I'm for it.

    Kalle

    Einverstanden. Trotzdem nehme ich einen Regenschirm mit.

    Translation

    Agreed. I'll take an umbrella anyway.

    Otti

    Und wer weiß, ob es im Kino Popcorn gibt? Dann bin ich nämlich sofort dabei!

    Translation

    And who knows if there's popcorn at the cinema? Because then I'm in straight away!

    Lotte

    Natürlich gibt es Popcorn, Otti. Also, abgemacht!

    Translation

    Of course there's popcorn, Otti. Right, it's a deal!
